Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles is a non profit 501(c)3, no kill rescue committed to saving all types of German Shepherd Dogs from high kill shelters and adopting them to loving, qualified homes.

Kelly von Klein is a beautiful 3 year old Retriever mix. This pretty blonde sweetheart with the perpetual smile and wagging tail is just the happiest dog on the block! She bursts out of her kennel with a cheerful grin and is always excited to see what awaits her in the great outdoors. She can get ahead sometimes, but never too far as she comes back to you looking for direction and a quick head rub. This smart lass is eager to please, loves affection and likes being told she’s a good girl -- so she’s really looking for an experienced handler to help lead her way. In playgroups, she exudes confidence and is not afraid to let a dog know if it is being pushy. She prefers the company of mellow and friendly males, however, she’s much more of a people-oriented dog, leaving the playground shenanigans to the puppies. It appears that Kelly might be housebroken. She has earned a reputation among the volunteers as being a complete love bug. With strong leadership and positive training drills, she will become the apple of your eye.
